As per the confusion re. the new Pentagon directive for the Media, it is of sufficient importance that the Media should responsibly self determine its output such that it supports the government agenda and does not undermine the success of the country esp. in critical operations overseas, while being able to exercise its right to freedom of the press. As per the old adage, Freedom and Responsibility go together.
